I heard you were supposed to sing ONE round on Yankee Doodle. It works: Yankee Doodle went to town a' ridin' on a poooony, stuck a feather in his cap n' called in macarooooni. Yankee Doodle keep it up, Yankee Doodle dandy, mind the feather in yo' cap and let the girls be haaaandy!!!
Maybe if everyone sang that, we wouldn't have to play favorites with the birthday song.
